Sales Continue Downward For Canadian PHCP Wholesalers
PHCP wholesalers’ May sales were up
compared to April 2009, they were down 16.8% or $75.9 million compared to the
same time last year.
According to the Canadian Institute Of Plumbing & Heating (CIPH), PHCP wholesalers’ May sales were up compared to April 2009, however they were down 16.8% or $75.9 million compared to the same time last year. Year-to-date total product sales were down 10.9% or $213.7 million for a year-to-date total of $1,738 billion.
While HVAC/R, Plumbing, PVF and Waterworks are all down in the country, the Hydronics sector is showing positive signs of growth, up 7.2% year-to-date.
