Johnson Controls-Unitary Products said employees at its manufacturing facility in Norman, OK, granted a wish to another Oklahoma child through the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Oklahoma. The employees donated more than $5,500 they raised by participating in a garage sale and silent auction at the plant.
The garage sale featured a variety of new and gently used clothing, ranging from leather jackets to caps and visors, that displayed the York, Coleman and Luxaire brands. Although this was the fourth consecutive year the Norman facility hosted the garage sale, it was the first time it was tied to a silent auction.
