The Unified Group held its sales forum in Indianapolis in April, attended by 45 salespeople. The event included educational workshops on topics such as green marketing, networking, telemarketing and estimating. The forum kicked off with Unified Group managing partner Jim Bartolotta identifying the positives of the economic climate. “Business is still being done,” he said. “You need to be strong, different and focused. Today’s deference is tomorrow’s business. This is a great chance for us to upgrade our talent pool and prove that the strong survive.”
All of the discussions were led by Unified Group members, including Jim O’Mahoney on marketing LEED/green; Jerry Hurwitz on prospecting and telemarketing; Woody Woodall on networking, creating a value proposition and maximizing your client base; Bill Flynn on verification calls; and Kevin Almon, who shared a preview of the new Unified Group estimating program.
