THG USA's owner and managing director Jerry Abel, who introduced THG to the North American market 11 years ago, has brought the luxury brand to a point where the factory can now take it under its own guidance. The acquisition was effective April 27, 2009. During his tenure, Abel advertised the brand's exclusive upscale status and coined THG as a premier luxury name in the United States. He built a strong network of dealers. THG USA headquarters will remain in Coconut Creek, FL under the guidance of current national sales director Scott Triethart and office manager Susan Mela.
