.W. Webb Co. (Bedford, MA) promoted Cathleen Barry to general manager of the Queensbury, NY, branch, the first woman to hold that title in the company. She began her career with F.W. Webb as an industrial inside salesperson at its Albany branch in 1991 and became operations manager in Queensbury in 2004. Prior to that she worked at another supply house for two years, and was employed by GE Plastics and Silicones in the purchasing department. She has 25 years of industry experience.
