By invitation from PHCC-National Association, Michael Adelizzi, ASA's executive vice president and Amy Black, ASAEF's executive director, traveled to Kansas City, MO on June 24 to attend the 2010 SkillsUSA Championships. SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure that America has a skilled work force. A total of 5,600 secondary and postsecondary Career and Technical Education students competed in 93 hands-on skills and leadership contests, including Residential Plumbing.
