Sandy, UT-based Standard Plumbing Supply held its 10th annual Customer Appreciation/Product Show in March at its headquarters. Nearly 2,500 people from eight western states attended, and more than 150 vendors participated. The 1950s theme of the show was carried out with a red 1957 Chevy Bellaire available for photos. Female employees wore poodle skirts. More than 2,000 dinners were served in the dining area, which was decorated as a 1950s soda fountain, with 1950s music playing. Hundreds of door prizes were awarded. The grand prize was a 42-inch high-definition television.
