PVF Roundtable Announces Scholarship Agreements
The PVF Roundtable partners with two major Texas universities for scholarships.
The PVF Roundtable announced the signing of agreements with two major universities - the University of Houston and Texas A&M University - that have Industrial Distribution degree programs.
The agreements are known as the PVF Roundtable Endowed Scholarship programs.
Funding for these scholarships comes primarily from the Don Caffee Memorial Golf Tournament, held in Houston in September. Don Caffee was the secretary-treasurer of PVF Roundtable and the principal of Valpers Inc.
After his passing, the scholarship fund was developed to fulfill a desire that Don had to encourage more young professionals to enter the PVF business.
Owen Doss was the organizer of last year’s successful tournament and Tom Pettit is the organizer of this year’s, to be held on September 20 at Longwood in Houston.
Besides the tournament, individuals and companies are welcome to donate to the scholarship fund. If your company has a matching gift program, your donations are especially welcome.
