Anvil International has expanded its Gruvlok product line with the addition of two-piece large diameter standard groove couplings available in both rigid and flexible styles. The couplings use standard grooves that conform to the American Water Works Association’s C606 standard for grooved and shouldered joints. Easier to install than large diameter couplings, they also use up to 23% less weight than competitive models, according to the company. Rated for 350 psi on cut or roll grooved pipe, they are offered in sizes ranging from 14 through 24 inches.
