Michael Fischer
TheSwan Corp., manufacturer of high-performance surfacing materials and products for the kitchen and bath, appointedMichael Fischeras its president and CEO. Fischer brings more than 30 years of building products industry experience in sales, marketing and manufacturing. He joins Swan from Formica Corp., a leader in the decorative surfacing industry, where he recently served as president. During his eight-year tenure at Formica, he implemented strategies that grew sales and market share, increased productivity and improved the profitability of the business.
Fischer also served as senior vice president of sales and marketing for the Wood Flooring Division of Armstrong World Industries. During his 23-year career with Armstrong, Fischer also held a wide variety of sales, marketing and general management leadership positions in Armstrong's North American Ceiling and Flooring divisions.
