Aquatherm’s polypropylene-random (PP-R) pipe is now available in North America for large-scale piping applications. The company has extended its Greenpipe line, which is specifically engineered for potable water, up to 18 inches in diameter. Its Climatherm line, which is designed for HVAC applications, now goes up to 24 inches in diameter. Greenpipe SDR 7.4 will still be available from 1/2- to 10-inch diameters. The new larger sizes are connected by butt fusion and are completely nontoxic.
