Tecumseh is expanding its large-frame rotary compressor line in North America to incorporate new residential, specialty and industrial applications. The new family of high efficiency RN rotary compressors covers capacities between 18,000 and 32,000 BTU per hour, with R134a, R407C and R410A refrigerants. The R134a is intended for cooling applications in telecommunications, process and electronic markets along with mobile transport segments. The R410A model is intended for use with packaged terminal air conditioners, while the R407C model is designed for process and electronic cooling applications.
