Emerson Climate Technologies Appoints Birch Taylor as VP and General Manager, Distribution Services

announces two high-level promotions.
Emerson Climate Technologies announced the appointment of Birch Taylor as vice president and general manager, Distribution Services. Taylor will be responsible for leading Emerson’s Distribution Services business organization, including sales, marketing, service engineering, distribution center and Educational Services.
Taylor replaces Mark Gibson who previously led Emerson’s Distribution Services business for more than 10 years. Gibson will be moving to an executive-level sales position in Emerson Climate Technologies Retail Solutions business.

Both Mark and Birch have made a number of significant contributions to the Distribution Services business in sales growth, wholesaler strategy and training initiatives,” said Bob Bauer, president, Refrigeration Business of Emerson Climate Technologies. “Emerson’s relationships with contractors and wholesalers are critical to our success, and I am excited to be bringing Birch and his wealth of experience in this market to lead this business.”
