RIDGID awards four PHCC Scholarships
RIDGID has awarded four scholarships through the Educational Foundation of the
Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors – National Association (PHCC) to students enrolled in
plumbing-heating-cooling apprentice programs. PHCC administers the scholarship program, which is designed to
attract new talent essential to the future of the plumbing and HVACR industry,
and is also responsible for selecting the award winners. Scholarship
recipients will receive up to $1,000 in tuition assistance and $1,500 in RIDGID
tools.
“RIDGID Tools are designed and manufactured for the professional tradesperson” said Craig Sumner, director, RIDGID brand management. “We are proud to sponsor scholarships that further the education of apprentices as they work to become plumbing and HVACR trade professionals.”
Tyler
Arndt of Brooklyn, Wis., is working full-time at PHCC member
company Arndt & Son Plumbing and is enrolled in the Madison Area Technical
College Plumbing Apprenticeship Program.
Justin Gould of San Diego, Calif., is working full-time
at PHCC member company Bill Howe, Inc., and is enrolled in the San Diego PHCC
Plumbing Apprentice Program.
Dana Parks of Imperial Beach, Calif., is working
full-time at PHCC member company Bill Howe, Inc., and is enrolled in the San
Diego PHCC Plumbing Apprentice Program.
Matthew Saille of El Cajon, Calif., is working full-time
at PHCC member company Bill Howe, Inc., and is enrolled in the San Diego PHCC
Plumbing Apprentice Program.
