Keeney Manufacturing’s
unofficial 90th anniversary kickoff event that was held in October.
TheKeeney Manufacturing Co.is proud to announce it will be celebrating its 90th anniversary in January of 2013. The company held an unofficial kickoff on October 9, 2012, at its quarterly employee gathering with a 1920s theme- the decade when Keeney Manufacturing was founded.
Attendees were dressed as gangsters and flappers, and decorated the venue as a speakeasy, complete with a secret password to get into the event. In addition, a competition was put out to the employees to submit their ideas for a corporate slogan for the 90th anniversary. The gathering served as an unveiling of the corporate logo and winning slogan that will be used during Keeney’s year-long anniversary celebration.
The winning slogan, “Revolutionary Plumbing Solutions…Since 1923” was a joint effort submitted byBeth CastroandChip Flynn. The event was a huge success and great way for Keeney to begin celebrating 90 years of service to its customers, employees and community.
