Morrison Supply, ranked 13th in the 2012 Supply House Times Premier 125 rankings released last May, recently acquired Santa Monica, Calif.-based Express Pipe & Supply. This is Morrison Supply’s first acquisition of a company in the Southern California market, which the company said is rebounding in the residential and commercial construction market.
Express Pipe & Supply is the third-largest plumbing supply company in Southern California with 12 branches. Express, which will continue to operate under its existing name, targets residential plumbing sales.
“The large Southern California market is an important strategic opportunity for Morrison, and Express Pipe & Supply is a clear leader in the area for all-around product offering and customer service,” Morrison CEO Chip Hornsbysaid.
