Aquatherm introduces new polypropylene-random to PEX transitions made from PP-R and brass. The fittings come in 1/2”, 3/4” and 1” sizes and are heat-fused to Aquatherm pipe on one side and crimped to PEX pipe on the other side. PP-R to PEX transitions are currently available as socket outlets, making it easier to design and install Aquatherm systems that integrate PEX tubing, such as radiant heating applications. They are also designed to reduce the risk of leakage by eliminating a threaded connection in the transition to PEX.
