German kitchen manufacturerbulthauprecently made a series of big moves in the United States. On Feb. 27th, the company announced it will move its U.S. headquarters to Los Angeles from Roseland, N.J. The move is expected to be completed by March 31, 2013.
As part of the move, the company also has appointedCharlotte Myhras the new U.S. chief operating officer. Myhr has been with bulthaup’s Los Angeles showroom operation since its opening in 1990. She has been with the company nearly 30 years, including working for a time in London. Myhr is in charge of maintaining and strengthening bulthaup’s brand, current domestic growth trajectory, heritage, family traditions and values.
“Our company-owned showrooms and retail partners throughout the U.S. have been experiencing strong sales growth,” saidDavid Westover, bulthaup’s U.S. CEO. “Moving the headquarters to Los Angeles, appointing Charlotte to the position of COO and a number of other exciting announcements we have planned in coming months are all part of building on that momentum and continuing to strengthen the bulthaup brand nationwide.”
