Longtime energy columnist and analyst Carol Freedenhal will be the keynote speaker at the PVF Roundtable meeting Aug. 20 at the JW Marriott Houston.
Freedenhal has 50 years of experience in and has been a consultant on energy-related project engineering. For 17 years he has been a contributing columnist to the Pipeline & Gas Journal. Freedenhal is particularly proficient in focusing on the latest fossil-fuel developments such as liquid natural gas, as well as putting into perspective the role of the government’s heavily subsidized renewables.
Freedenhal will share his knowledge regarding the state of the current energy evolution within the context of his career and will field questions on any aspect of energy expansion.
The August meeting starts at 4:15 p.m. with the networking session. Dinner is served at 5:45 p.m., and PVF Roundtable President Danny Westbrook will open the proceedings at 6:30 p.m. Supply House Times columnist and ASA industry analyst Morris Beschloss will provide his PVF economic forecast for the remainder of 2013.
