Ferguson recently broke ground on a 400,000-sq.-ft. distribution center in Celina, Ohio. The company will create 70 new full-time jobs at the 77-acre site, which is scheduled to open in late fall.
Ferguson chose Celina, located in Mercer County a little more than an hour north of Dayton, Ohio, because of its close proximity to other Ferguson Midwest locations.
“Our distribution centers are the heart of our supply chain,” Ferguson Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Al Byrd said. “The Celina DC will allow us to get the products customers need quickly, even the next day. We are excited to grow our infrastructure in the Midwest and better serve our customers while also providing new jobs in the region.”
Ferguson currently has 11 distribution centers in the U.S. and Canada. Those DCs stock more than 80,000 different products and employ more than 1,000 associates.
