Navien introduces the NPE-S, Navien Premium Efficiency – Standard. The NPE-S delivers up to 0.98 EF efficiencies, which the company states is the industry’s highest-rated gas water heater. The NPE-S is ideal for both residential and commercial applications where the ComfortFlow feature in the A model, including buffer tank and internal recirculation pump, is not required. All other NPE series features are found in the NPE-S, including: 1/2” gas pipe capability up to 24’, dual-stainless steel heat exchangers for longer life, field gas convertibility and 2” PVC venting up to 60’.
