WinWholesale recently opened three new locations, bringing the total nimber of openings in 2013 to 10. The company’s new locations include Canandaigua (N.Y.) Winsupply, Bloomington, Ind.-based Hoosier Winsupply and Meriden (Conn.) Winwater Works.
Canandaigua and Hoosier stock plumbing, heating, ventilation and air-conditioning products. Hoosier also carries kitchen and bath products. Meriden distributes PVC pipe, valves, water hydrants, drainage systems and other products to general, municipal and utility contractors. WinWholesale is the majority shareholder in the three companies. WinWholesale now has more than 550 locations across the U.S.
“Each of these companies is led by a local president who knows their customers and the market,” WinWholesale CEO Monte Salsman said. “They make on-the-spot decisions how best to serve them, from what and how much to carry in inventory to delivering the orders.”
In other WinWholesale news, the company launched its first mobile application for use with smartphones and tablets that gives customers the ability to perform several functions to do business on the go, including finding the closest Win Group location.
