St. Paul, Minn.-based manufacturers representative http://www.michelsales.com/Michel SalesAgency recently hosted a daylong seminar on “Cutting Edge Hydronics,” presented by BNP Media Plumbing Group Hydronics Editor John Siegenthaler, P.E., of Appropriate Designs.
The event, which was attended by more than 70 contractors, wholesalers and design professionals from four Midwestern states, was sponsored by Laars Heating Systems, REHAU and WILO. Some topics covered during the seminar included hydraulic separation, distribution efficiency and low-power pumping, and radiant ceilings for heating and cooling.
The luncheon keynote speaker was Kenneth W. Smith, P.E., the president and CEO of District Energy St. Paul and its affiliate Ever-green Energy. Smith talked about where energy is being used today and where it will be used in the future.
