Deacon Industrial Supply recently hosted more than 400 customers and suppliers at its 50th anniversary customer appreciation celebration in Valley Forge, Pa.
Deacon’s 50-year timeline exhibit was displayed by decade for all guests to interact with and walk through. Owner and CEO Bill Vail and other Deacon employees were on hand thanking and celebrating with customers as well as suppliers. Guests were treated to plenty of food and drink and a performance on center stage by Greaseband.
Deacon continues to make the necessary investments to accelerate business growth. In June 2011, the company moved into its new state-of-the-art 150,000-sq.-ft. facility in Harleysville, Pa. The new facility provides customers with increased product availability and inventory, greater in-house fabrication capabilities and better customer service and delivery.
Deacon has been a full-service distributor of pipe, valves, fittings, industrial specialties, heating, sprinkler, automation and instrumentation services since 1963.
