The Mechanical Contractors Association of America named winners of its annual safety awards, Distinguished Service Award and Partnership Enterprise Award in March during its convention in Phoenix.
Weldbend Corp. received the Partnership Enterprise Award from the Mechanical Contracting Education & Research Foundation for its contribution of $100,000. Receiving the recognition for Weldbend were James Coulas III, Kevin Coulas and Michael Hammer. MCERF funds industry-related research and internship grants, and it works closely with MCAA’s student chapters.
MCAA President Michael R. Cables and MCAA Past President and MCERF President Bob Armistead presented the recognition to Weldbend at the MCAA Awards of Excellence Breakfast at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa.
