Wolseley Industrial’s Meridian trunnion and floating ball valves have attained IEC 61508 Ed2 SIL 3 approval certificates from Bureau Veritas. The certificates acknowledge the ball valves meet a series of strict safety and quality requirements and have extremely low failure rates. The certificates apply to trunnion ball valves sizes 2” to 56”, ASME classes 150-2,500 and industry specs API 6D, API 608 and ISO 17292; floating ball valves sizes 2” to 12”, ASME classes 150 through 2,500 and industry specs API 608, API 6D and ISO 17292.
