Major Inc., a U.S. Northeast-based distributor of pipe, valves, fittings, and actuation solutions, has been acquired by Shale-Inland from Platform Management. 

 An integrator, distributor, supply house and valve automation provider primarily focused on the power industry, New Jersey-based Major Inc., had been a part of the Platform Management family since Oct., 2013, but involved with the Platform executive team for more than a decade. Shale-Inland is a leading supplier of pipe, valves and fittings, and is also a provider of technical solutions to its customers in the energy and industrial sectors.
