ECR International announced its shareholders have approved the sale of the company to BDR Thermea, a Dutch heating products group with global headquarters in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. All BDR North American operations will integrate into a newly established company that will operate under the ECR International name and be managed by current ECR International President and CEO Ron Passafaro. The current management structure and manufacturing facilities in Dunkirk and Utica, N.Y., also will remain the same.
