The industry’s networking and educational event of the year will soon be upon us once again as Network2016 converges on New York City and the world-famous Waldorf Astoria Sept. 28-30.
With a record-breaking 124 wholesaler-distributor firms in attendance at last year’s event in Chicago, we have once again set the bar high and intend on bringing more than 150 wholesaler-distributor firms to New York this fall. As we plan to attract more than $14 billion of industry purchasing power to one place at one time, we ask you please take a few minutes to review our conference program brochure that recently was mailed (also available in electronic format at www.asa.net) for a glance at the limitless opportunities Network2016 offers you and everyone within your firm.
We have another great speaker lineup for 2016 headlined by Dana Perino, former White House press secretary for President George W. Bush and co-host of “The Five” on Fox News; Neil Cavuto, senior vice president, managing editor and anchor for both FOX News Channel and FOX Business Network; and General Michael Hayden, former CIA director and the country’s first principal director of national intelligence. In addition to this top-notch set of speakers, we’ll have a timely update during our Annual Meeting and Member Lunch on “America’s 2016 Political Landscape & Impact on Policy” from Stephen Hayes, senior writer for The Weekly Standard and Fox News contributor where he is a regular on “Special Report with Bret Baier.”
Leading off the schedule of 2016’s general-session speakers is industry favorite and Supply House Times columnist Dirk Beveridge, whose presentation “Reimagining Distributor and Manufacturer Relationships” will take a new look at how industry business partnerships are handled and how successful business collaborations are taking place today.
Also, always a favorite within the PHCP-PVF industry, Brian Beaulieu will provide his 2017 economic forecast. This annual update consistently ranks as one of the most popular of the annual Network events and is always “standing room only.” Rounding out the general-session speaker lineup is internationally respected coach and speaker Michael Staver, whose signature speaking and writing topic “Leadership isn’t for Cowards” is sure to be an absolute hit.
Rounding out the programming for Network2016 are educational sessions covering topics such as “Strategic Planning for Distributors,” “How Will You Attract the Best Millennials to Your Sales Team?” “Shift Happens: Build Customer Loyalty & Increase Revenue Through E-Commerce” and many more. An annual Network event mainstay, the industry-leading wholesaler and vendor conference appointments once again will provide wholesaler-distributors and their manufacturer business partners the opportunity to conduct business via prescheduled one-on-one appointments all in one place at one time. Last year, 838 appointments were conducted throughout a four-hour timeframe. Expectations are even higher for 2016.
Needless to say, there are plenty of reasons you and representatives from your firm should be at Network2016 in New York in September. The reasons not to be there are few. Everything you need to register is available at www.asa.net. Click on the Network2016 brochure cover on the homepage for further details and register now for the industry’s premier event!
