Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Murray Supply Co. hosted its annual company-wide recognition dinner at the Grand Pavilion Ballroom of the Downtown Winston-Salem Embassy Suites in early March.
Matt Alspaugh, from the corporate office, was honored with the overall 2015 Murray Supply Co. Employee of the Year award.
Other Employee of the Year awards went to Mo Lloyd (Charlotte branch),Bobby Williams (Winston-Salem), Dennis Hatfield (Raleigh),James Lackey (Hickory), Terrah McGee (Industrial Division) and LaKesha McNeil (corporate). Eric Allen (MRO Raleigh) and Marilyn Kelly (MRO corporate) won Employee of the Year awards in the MRO Division.
Ian Timmons of Murray’s Industrial Division received the Tim Norman Sales Leadership Award. Randy Stephens (Winston-Salem) won the Runner-Up Sales Award, while Alan Honeycutt (Raleigh) won the First Place Sales Award and the Top Gross Profit Dollar Producer Award. From the MRO Division, Tony Morgan, Bob Shefte and Todd Killebrew received Sales Plan Achievement awards. Morgan also received both the Highest Percentage Increase Over Sales Plan Award and the Top Gross Profit Dollar Producer Award.
Barbara Boger received a 40-year service award. Boger retired in August 2015 after reaching her 40th anniversary with the company. David Byrd received a 30-year service award and Jeff Honeycutt was the recipient of a 25-year service award. Five-year service awards were presented to Chris Nelson, Lackey, David West and Drew Haynes. Safe driving awards were given to Larry Fesperman, Daniel Kelly, Jeffrey Setzer, Tim Mabe, Lackey, Kevin Thorne, Patrick Simons, Hatfield, West and Lawrence Hagenah.
