The American Supply Association recently announced it will participate in the 2018 Uniform Solar Energy and Hydronics Code code-development process. IAPMO recently released the 2016 USEHC monograph, which is the first step (proposal stage) of the process to generate the 2018 edition of the code.
The USEHC is currently adopted in various jurisdictions throughout the U.S., and addresses hydronic and HVAC systems provisions such as circulating pumps, expansion tanks, ducts, and hydronic piping, tubing and fittings.
The USEHC Technical Committee meeting was held in late October at IAPMO headquarters.
