Dear
Industry Colleagues,
Serving as ASA president throughout the course of the past several months
has been quite a learning experience. In addition to having the unique
opportunity of working closely with association leadership and staff, I have
also enjoyed the privilege of representing ASA at various industry events
during this time.
Faced with tough questions from a TV reporter, four actions you should avoid are:
1) Making a stupid facial expression;
2) Trying to end the interview;
3) Staring into the camera like a deer in the headlights; and
4) Declaring, “No comment!”
Currently, workplaces in the United States function under the Hazard Communication Standard 1910.1200 as published in the Code of Federal Regulations on March 11, 1994 - also referred to as HCS 1994.
With
so much up for grabs during this election cycle in the United States, mid-May
was the appropriate time for members of the American Supply
Association to descend upon Washington and partake in ASA’s annual Legislative
Fly-in.
ASA University is a combination of five dynamic colleges.

NetworkASA 2011 in Las Vegas was an all-out success in terms of
offering participants phenomenal sessions and an abundance of opportunities to
meet business leaders that just aren’t available at any other industry event.
