The NKBA announced its 2023 Board of Directors. Jan Heck, president and CEO of Miele USA, was elected NKBA Board Chair, succeeding Basil E. Larkin, senior vice president of sales at Hestan Commercial Corp.
The National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) had a monumental year in 2022. It kicked off with the first in-person Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) event since 2020. Additionally, in October, NKBA moved from Hackettstown, New Jersey to its brand new headquarters in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
The programs include the first NKBA International Buyer’s Tour, the NKBA Global Connect Pavilion, and the NKBA Global Connect Delegation Program. All will take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center, January 31 - Feb 2, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
After two-year COVID hiatus, first in-person industry show is a success.

The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) wrapped it’s first in-person show in two years. The combined strengths of the NKBA and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), continuing their nine-year partnership to produce Design and Construction Week (DCW), brought forth the first and one of the largest in-person events since the beginning of the pandemic.
The National Kitchen & Bath Association announced its NKBA Global Connect programming at KBIS 2022. Geared to international manufacturers and distributors interested in learning more about the North American kitchen and bath marketplace, these programs will be featured on the stage Feb 8-10, 2022 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
Following NKBA CEO Bill Darcy’s welcome and State of the Association report on Feb. 9, KOHLER President and CEO David Kohler took to the virtual stage for a State of the Industry analysis.
NKBA and NAHB announced the virtual exhibitor booth experience will be postponed after battling with technical difficulties since the show's onset February 9. Scheduled programming and educational sessions will still continue as planned.
