Every year on March 11, the international plumbing community comes together to celebrate World Plumbing Day. The day aims to spread awareness of the importance of plumbing and plumbers in protecting public health and improving access to clean water and sanitation facilities. 

The bundle of products in the donation helps healthcare facilities upgrade to a touchless environment. The products include sensor-operated handwashing faucets and soap dispensers, sensor-operated flush valves, a select group of sinks made with CuVerro Antimicrobial Copper-Nickel alloy surfaces, and hand dryers.

Preparations are already underway to ensure that the 2020 Emerging Water Technology Symposium (EWTS), to be held May 12-13, 2020, at the Westin Riverwalk in San Antonio, is the most comprehensive and informative event since the symposium debuted in 2008.

Ferguson joined the International Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Foundation (IWSH), governments, and NGOs in declaring: Every person, no matter where they live in the in the United States, should have access to safe sanitation. This commitment is to help the 1.4 million Americans who lack access to safe, reliable sanitation and the hope, dignity and health that it brings.
