The American Supply Association (ASA) recently joined the Alliance for Water Efficiency in its appeal to the United States Department of Energy related to allowable flow-rate changes for multi-head showers, and the subsequent negative affects it will have on business operations for ASA members, as well as overall negative water-efficiency consequences that will result.
The bill seeks to reauthorize the 1937 National Apprenticeship Act, which established the registered apprenticeship system, for the first time since its inception 84 years ago.
The new administration’s priorities closely align with many of PMI’s goals, specifically supporting infrastructure to improve drinking and wastewater systems, a strengthened EPA program — which includes WaterSense, and international trade and commerce.
Over the course of the last few months, the American Supply Association has been actively monitoring the state of California’s efforts to pass “Get the Lead Out 2.0,” which would force manufacturers into a second round of endpoint fixture lead reduction, 10 years after current regulations went into effect.
