NYMEX domestic hot-rolled coil steel prices were $698 per ton through March 19. 

US producer prices for fittings and flanges on a national basis were up 5.2% Y/Y through February. 

Domestic Hot-rolled Coil steel prices were $685 per ton through February 13.

A number of factors continue to provide support for fitting and flange prices again in February. 

MEPS forecasts global stainless-steel output will rise 4.7% in 2019.

Copper prices have lifted since January’s report.

The interruption in global demand from the Chinese New Year was still weighing on HDPE prices in February. 

Most scrap metal prices are on the rise as demand has been steady and supply continues to be constrained.

Import volume has continued to fall after a short recovery in 2018. 

The tariffs are slated to move to between 10% and 25% by the end of March.
