ASA was the winner of the Storehouse of World Vision’s Partner of the Year honor during the 14th Annual Crystal Vision Awards Breakfast at KBIS. “ASA is proud to receive the Storehouse’s ‘Partner of the Year’ honor,” ASA Executive Vice President Mike Adelizzi said.
After walking the Greenbuild 2013 exhibitor hall Nov. 20-21 it became evident that major manufacturers did not pack as many new products or technologies for the Philadelphia incarnation of the premier sustainable building trade show.
If the preshow buzz is any indication, the co-locating of the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show and the International Builders’ Show already is a smash hit. The two major industry trade shows go under the same roof for the first time Feb. 4-6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center as part of what is being billed as Design & Construction Week.
During the 2013 AHR Expo in Dallas, the trade show’s leaders distributed a survey to its 55,000 attendees. The results were a tad surprising coming out of the industry’s premier HVACR event. Nearly 18% of attendees say they are interested in plumbing products and technologies. The show’s organizers and exhibiting companies have responded in earnest to those results.
According to the latest statistics relating to the nation’s wholesale inventory values, there has been a notable shrinkage in the amount and value of stock retained by this critical factor in the United States’ distribution channel, considered the outstanding network of its kind anywhere in the world.
