DHS gives advice for the work truck industry during COVID-19

Currently, at least 12 states have issued stay-at-home orders thus far. All shut downs include exemptions for “essential” operations. There is no consistency around the scope of what constitutes an essential business or service, forcing these decisions to be made locally.
Effective March 23rd, there will be 6-foot barriers around sales counters and designated lanes for customers that prefer to select their own products. Customers that do not want to enter the facilities can place an order by phone and meet with an Northeastern Supply employee outside of the building, limiting physical contact.
Trade associations urge fiscal and economic response to help businesses survive the crisis match scale and intensity of steps being taken to end pandemic.
