Goodman Distribution, a subsidiary of Daikin Industries, manufacturer of heating, cooling and refrigerant products, announced the purchase of Robinson Plumbing & Heating Supply Co., an existing distributor of Goodman, Amana and Daikin brand residential unitary and light commercial products in the Northeast.
AD announced it has completed mergers with SafetyNetwork and Delta Distributors, the group’s 11th and 12th mergers since it started in 1981 and its fourth and fifth in the last two years. Both mergers were effective Jan. 1, 2021.

Arnold “Arnie” Weinstein, 92, founder and president of Max-Arnold Co. and later, Arnold Sales Co., passed away peacefully with his family at his side in his home near Philadelphia.
The Heating, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) replaced its annual year-end summit with an all-new virtual format in 2020. The virtual conference took place Oct. 7-9, bringing in 349 wholesale-distributor attendees from 127 different member companies, and a grand total of 695 attendees from 270 member companies.
