The BBTT Skills Expo presented by F.W. Webb is set to be a transformative experience for middle school and high school students, their parents, and adults interested in learning about the trades. The event is designed to engage, inspire, and inform, showcasing the exciting, technology-driven world of skilled trades through hands-on exhibits and interactive displays.

This initiative will focus on understanding key factors contributing to the skills gap, including workforce demographics, barriers to entry, and education and training opportunities. 

 The book is designed to help combat workforce challenges by sparking curiosity in trade careers early on.

The American Supply Association (ASA) has upgraded the Recruiter Toolbox, an online resource for members to enhance talent recruitment. This supports the Project Talent initiative to attract skilled workers to the PHCP and PVF industries while inviting member feedback for improvements.

Thanks to the support of Ferguson’s associates, vendors and customers, more than $112,000 was raised for the scholarships, exceeding the original goal. 

Twelve schools to receive support to create and update plumbing and HVAC labs.

The event aimed to help the Girl Scouts complete a The House That She Built Girl Scouts patch, encouraging their interest in construction and raising awareness of opportunities in the trades.

As part of their Trade Tuesday campaign, SupplyHouse.com pledged to donate $2 for every engagement on special social media posts made in November.
