APR Supply Co. President and CEO, Scott Weaver, recently rode in the Alzheimer’s Association South Carolina Chapter’s inaugural Ride to End ALZ South Carolina cycling event. The three-day, 252-mile ride raises funds to help continue research efforts for the Alzheimer’s Association to identify treatment methods and preventive measures for Alzheimer’s. 

The Centennial celebration of APR Supply Co. also brings upon reflection as Scott Weaver’s father passed away from Alzheimer’s. “I ride in his memory, and I choose Ride to End ALZ South Carolina because they are the most successful cycling fundraising event for ALZ research,” said Weaver. “I believe the cure is on the horizon and feel strongly that helping raise money moves us all one step closer to that goal.” The cross-state ride raised an incredible $829,902.42.
