The Fred V. Keenan Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Brian Tuohey, president of the Collins Companies, and Jim Lewis, vice president and general manager of business services at Kohler, during the 2024 Annual Member Luncheon at the ASA’s NETWORK2024 in Chicago, Nov. 14.

Lewis has more than 32 years of experience in the PHCP supply chain and has been actively supporting ASA through various volunteer leadership roles for more than a decade. His contributions include driving the success of the ASA Plumbing Division and the Plumbing Division Breakfast at NETWORK.

Additionally, Lewis has been a key player on the ASA Building One Future Strategic Action Task Group and has provided valuable input at ASA’s LEAD strategic planning meeting each winter. He has also served on the ASA Board of Directors for more than 10 years, including four years on the ASA Executive Committee.

Tuohey, president of the Collins Companies, is a long-time ASA member and former chairman of ASA’s Industrial Piping Division Advisory Group. He has also served on the ASA Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and as ASA president in 2018, becoming the 50th individual to hold the presidency. Notably, he was the first ASA past president to receive the IPD’s top honor last year.

The Fred V. Keenan Lifetime Achievement Award honors individuals with a significant record of accomplishment and a long history of service, dedication, and positive influence on the industry.

To be eligible, nominees for the award should have made a career of advancing the PHCP/PVF industry and contributing to the American Supply Association.

Each year, the Fred V. Keenan Nominating Committee, consisting of ASA senior leadership and past chairs, reviews a range of eligible candidates. The committee may choose to present the award to more than one candidate, though it is not required to do so every year.
