Fayette Pipe, a veteran-owned, family-operated manufacturer of American-made black steel pipe and fittings, has announced the completion of a $1.4 million expansion at its facility in Lemont Furnace, Pennsylvania. The expansion includes a new 23,000-square-foot truck loading and unloading facility with additional warehousing space designed to improve operational efficiency and enhance the experience for truck drivers and the warehouse team.

This new space allows Fayette Pipe to load two trucks simultaneously, with ample room for drivers to pull forward and tarp their loads while the next trucks are prepared for loading. This efficient traffic flow streamlines the process, improving both safety and productivity across the property.

“This expansion is all about improving our operations and ongoing commitment to operational excellence,” said Chris Gearing, vice president of Fayette Pipe. “The new facility enables us to handle multiple trucks at once, which means faster turnaround times for drivers and more efficient use of our warehouse team's time. It’s a win-win for everyone involved.”

While the expansion has greatly enhanced Fayette Pipe's ability to manage truck traffic, the company has not needed to hire additional staff. The improvement is designed to better utilize the existing workforce and facilities.
