How long have you been in the industry?
10 years this fall.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your career in PHCP-PVF?
The most rewarding aspect of my career is when we launch products and customers tell us about how well the product works and that it solves a problem that they had. When our customers feel listened to, it means I’m doing my job well.
What do you wish more people understood/knew about the plumbing industry?
Many people think bathrooms have been the same for decades and that there is no innovation going on in bathrooms but at Sloan we firmly disagree. For me, building comfortable, clean, attractive restrooms that function flawlessly and use water and other resources sustainably is an exciting and rewarding challenge to wake up and tackle each day. I think if more people knew how much innovation there was being developed, they would all want to work in our industry!
