“Our company is focused on understanding what our users do from the time they get up until the time they go to bed,” Milwaukee Tool President Steve Richman said. “We are a solutions provider. We’re not just about power tools. We’re about accessories and hand tools and how we can solve problems. We deliver distributive innovation. We are delivering products to the market that save time and increase productivity on the job.”

The company’s continued push into cordless technology was evident during the event with the unveiling of numerous new cordless tools, including the M18 deep cut band saw.
“Our vision is to have a cordless jobsite,” Milwaukee Tool Vice President of Cordless Product Management Paul Fry said.
Milwaukee also unveiled its new 5 amp-hour battery pack, which provides end users between 20 and 25% more run time than the previous 4 amp-hour pack. A dual M18-M12 platform rapid battery charge station also debuted. Milwaukee Tool’s Andrew Lentz noted the new station takes only 72 minutes to charge three cordless batteries.
“We want to provide solutions that help end users cut the cord so they never have to drag a cord on the jobsite,” Lentz said.
Other new products on display included a variety of jobsite storage options, lighting solutions and fastening tools. During the lunch break, attendees also heard from Empire Level Senior Vice President and General Rick Gray. Milwaukee Tool recently purchased Empire Level.
