Deacon Industrial Supply recently announced several personnel changes in the company.
Lee Sharpless, a 36-year veteran of the company, was named director of sales operations. Most recently he was director of commercial sales and inside sales.
“Going forward we need Les to focus on the sales efforts and best practices of the inside sales team across all market segments and product specialties,” Deacon Industrial Supply Vice President of Sales Bill Dunne said. “Les will continue to report to me while working closely with the leaders of each department.”
Effective immediately Chris Teti will take on the role of director of commercial sales. Tefti joined Deacon in January 2014 as an account executive and “has been a great addition to the commercial side of our business,” Dunne said. “He will n ow be leading the sales efforts and strategies of the commercial team in addition to managing many of his existing customer accounts. Chris will continue to report directly to me while also working closely with the leaders of each department.”
Also effective immediately Danny Sharpless will take on a new role as valve automation and controls specialist. Sharpless has been with the company for 10 years most recently helping to contribute to the growth of the automation department, the company noted.
“Dan will supervise the automation shop personnel (Bob Flohr and Mike Kozak) and continue to report directly to Les Sharpless,” Dunne said.
