Valve prices, according to the Producer Price Index, were up 0.7% month-over-month in April (unchanged last month). 

No change from last month. 

The demand for forged steel fittings and seamless nipples will weaken unless oil remains above $20 / barrel. 

Steel coil along with scrap has softened from weak demand in part due to virus concerns. 

Nickel prices have stabilized over the past 30 days to @$5.41 per lb. ($5.37 in the last update).  

NYMEX domestic hot-rolled coil steel prices were $480 per ton for May futures ($577 per ton in the last update).  

Oil and gas business is very slow because of ongoing OPEC issues between Saudi Arabia and Russia (coupled with COVID-19).

The Producer Price Index for copper tube and fittings were down 3.4% month-over-month (down 0.4% in the last update) and was down 9.8% year-over-year (down 3.0% Y/Y last month). 

Producer prices for HDPE pipe were up 1.6% M/M (up 0.2% last month) and were down 1.7% Y/Y (down 3% Y/Y last month).  

Valve prices according to the Producer Price Index were flat month-over-month in March (up 0.1% M/M last month).
