The Granite Group, a leading supplier of plumbing, heating, cooling, piping, water systems and energy products in the Northeast, has announced it has finalized the acquisition of United Plumbing Supply (UPS).
Based in Springfield, Massachusetts, UPS consists of one wholesale branch located at 377 Cottage Street and a decorative plumbing showroom called, “The Bath & Kitchen Gallery,” located at 1060 Memorial Avenue in West Springfield. Effective April 1, 2022, both locations began operating under The Granite Group umbrella.
Zurn Water Solutions Corp. and Elkay Manufacturing Co. announced they have reached a definitive agreement to combine the businesses in an all-stock transaction. Upon completion of the transaction, Zurn Water Solutions shareholders will own approximately 71% and Elkay shareholders will own approximately 29% of the combined and newly named company — Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corp.

Ridgemont and the Munch’s management team will retain a meaningful minority stake in the combined entity.

PPG designs, manufactures, markets and distributes plumbing products. PPG’s portfolio includes products from two proprietary brands — Wolverine Brass and Speakman — as well as third-party products across all of the leading brands.
