As of press time amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Nearly 2,000 employees of American Supply Association member companies had visited a special ASA Take Action page on the ASA website and sent nearly 7,800 emails to President Trump, their U.S. senators and local congressmen in support of declaring the PHCP-PVF industry essential.
The longtime owner of Baltimore, Maryland-based Northeastern Supply and father of 2019 ASA President Steve Cook died on Good Friday at the age of 85. His passing sparked an outpouring of support and memories.
Twelve years ago, the American Supply Association launched its inaugural winter leadership meeting where some 70 volunteer leaders gathered in the Tampa-St. Petersburg, Florida area to develop ASA’s first extensive long-term strategic action plan — a launching pad that aimed the association on a growth and success trajectory that continues to this day.
